Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time Associate who will support both investment activities and post-investment value creation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup-like VC environment and wants to work at the intersection of technology, venture capital, corporate strategy, and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Investment:
Source and evaluate climate tech startups globally
Conduct deep-dive diligence, including business, market, and technical assessment
Draft investment memos and participate in investment committee discussions
Help organize deal flow, CRM, and internal investment operations
Platform & Japan Support:
Support portfolio companies with Japan market expansion, including customer introductions and BD support
Research Japan market opportunity, including policy, growth drivers, and industry trends
Develop expansion strategy
Liaise with Japanese LPs on strategic collaboration opportunities
Support fund brand-building through thought leadership, events, and communications, and collaboration with accelerator partners and ecosystem
Who You Are
2–5 years of experience in VC, consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or startup operations
Strong analytical and communication skills
Business-level or fluent English and Japanese
Curious, self-directed, and eager to make an impact in an entrepreneurial team
